EssilorLuxottica’s Headquarters Fuel Growth, Innovation and Sustainability

EssilorLuxottica’s success is deeply rooted in its people. Its workplaces around the world reflect this engagement as they combine functionality, aesthetics, and well-being along with care for the environment.

Earlier this year, the Group unveiled its plans for its new global headquarters in Paris, which is expected to open in late 2027. The building will be a forward-looking window to the city and represents the future of a constantly evolving Company that has a trailblazing role in reshaping the industry. It will be an optimized working space for exchanging new ideas, creativity and collaboration while supporting flexible work arrangements.

Located in the heart of the lively Austerlitz district which boasts a booming tech startup and digital company scene, the new site will bring together more than 2,000 people, regrouping teams from the Group’s functions currently spread across the Grand Paris region. From design to digital, business development and corporate functions, all the Company’s organizations will be brought under the same roof.

The new, over 20,000 square meters state-of-the-art building will blend the elegance of Haussmannian style with contemporary design and architecture. It will feature training areas, an auditorium and a showroom dedicated to EssilorLuxottica’s iconic brands, innovative solutions and technologies.

The Group’s workplaces are being redesigned on a global scale, to not only meet the new needs of its employees but also foster EssilorLuxottica’s culture of innovation as well as the well-being of its people. This is reflected in its Milan working spaces, both in Cadorna - located in the historic city center - and in the Experience Center in Via Tortona - in the heart of the city's design district. While reflecting the Company’s strong history, the Experience Center also outlines EssilorLuxottica’s future, as users navigate around through an immersive experience in a physical and digital environment.

Adding to the Milan sites, the new headquarters in Paris aims to meet the highest environmental sustainability and well-being standards, in line with EssilorLuxottica’s ‘Eyes on the Planet’ sustainability program. Ultimately, the aim is for employees to feel inspired as they are immersed in the Company’s fully integrated culture and values as they are surrounded by the very innovation that is fueling the eyecare and eyewear industry.
