Marking an important milestone, EssilorLuxottica officially revealed its new shared values at the start of 2024. These values set the foundation for several exciting new HR initiatives designed to foster a strong, inclusive, innovative and collaborative culture that supports the growth of its talented global employee community today and in the future.

In a moment of connection and celebration, employees across the globe came together to witness the launch of EssilorLuxottica’s shared values. These values involved both the Group’s employees and leaders in a collaborative co-creation process, ensuring they reflect what truly matters for the Group’s success.

A Workplace Where All Employees Feel Welcome
In addition to unveiling these values, the Group introduced a transformative Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) strategy that promotes a workplace where every employee feels valued, welcome and empowered to reach their full potential.
To further champion DE&I efforts, an Inclusion Committee was established to provide strategic guidance on fostering inclusivity advocating and sponsoring our DE&I program and a robust DE&I framework. This committee includes members from the Senior Leadership Team and managers representing various business units, roles and regions to ensure diverse perspectives shape the Group’s actions and priorities.
Your Voice – Culture Insights: Valuable Input on Employee Experience
In alignment with this progress, a global listening initiative, called ‘Your Voice Matters’, was launched with questionnaires designed to gather valuable insight into employee experiences.
Between May to October, an impressive 78% of employees across retail stores, industrial sites and offices responded to this global initiative by giving their perspective on key aspects of work life, such as sense of belonging, values alignment, culture and environment to better shape the future of the Group.
