The Ray-Ban I Meta smart glasses have been upgraded with new software features and updates to Meta AI as well as a more diverse product line and a special limited-edition model, offering an unparalleled blend of style, functionality and connectivity.  


EssilorLuxottica is continuing to redefine the future of wearable technology with Meta, updating the Ray-Ban I Meta smart glasses collection with enhanced functionalities and an expanded product line. 


Video Calling 

With a simple double-tap of the capture button to switch on the camera, video calling now lets wearers share their unique point of view hands-free using WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger for deeper integration with Meta’s family of apps. 


Multimodal Capabilities with Meta AI 
Allowing users to use their glasses to look and ask Meta AI to take a photo and give information based on what they’re looking at, multi-modal AI gives them unprecedented access to information or sparks creativity based on their surroundings. For example, multi-modal AI can be used to identify objects, translate text or suggest creative captions based on what the users sees. 

 
New Models & Lens Colors  

Two new models have been added to the collection: the Skyler is inspired by an era of iconic jet-set style, drawing on the Ray-Ban 60s archive and the golden age of air travel; and the Headliner Low Bridge Fit is a variation of the classic Headliner style, with a lower nose bridge for more inclusivity. 


Four new vibrant special-edition lens colors have been added to the Transitions offer, available exclusively for the Ray-Ban Meta collection. These colors are ideal for those seeking dynamic color outdoors and a pop of color indoors. In total, the Ray-Ban Meta collection boasts 30 styles with hundreds of color and style combinations. 

  

Limited-Edition Ray-Ban | Meta for Scuderia Ferrari  
The first limited-edition Ray-Ban I Meta smart glasses model in an exclusive Scuderia Ferrari colorway for the F1 Miami 2024 Grand Prix brings together the legacy of Ferrari, timeless Ray-Ban design and cutting-edge Meta technology. The collection was limited to 1,000 units and sold-out within a few days after launch.
