The Company participated in the 23rd edition of the Shanghai International Optics Fair (SIOF) to showcase its groundbreaking vision care products, solutions and iconic brands.
From Feb 20 to 22, 2025 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, EssilorLuxottica showcased its life cycle vision health solutions which meet the diverse needs of consumers at SIOF, one of the optical industry’s most influential exhibitions in Asia. Based on the theme "Together We Innovate, For Superior Eyecare”, the Group brought together its subsidiaries and well-known brands including Transitions, Ray-Ban, Oakley, Kodak, Bolon and Essilor. It took the opportunity to unveil its latest solutions in myopia management, eye accommodation for adults and outdoor light management, to improve the visual experience for consumers with different needs.
Myopia has become a global issue in visual health. Since the launch of Stellest in China in 2020, various clinic studies have shown that it is effective in slowing down the progression of myopia. To further meet user needs in terms of safety, stability and comfort, the Group cooperated with experts in children’s eyewear and launched the first pair of Stellest glasses during SIOF. They are tailored according to the facial anthropometric data of 3–12-year-old Chinese children and is designed with details such as spring-back nose pads and length-adjustable temples. These design elements help children adhere to the recommended wearing time for myopia management lenses, to enhance the effectiveness of myopia control.
In terms of light management, Transitions GEN S made its debut in the Chinese mainland market at SIOF. With five years of development, this revolutionary dynamic lens adopts advanced symbiotic technology, making it ultra-responsive to light, reaching category three levels of darkness in 25 seconds and fading back in less than two minutes; Transitions GEN S is available in eight exclusive colors, including a brand-new addition, Ruby. All colors have been optimized to be true to tone at all times, offering vibrant tints regardless of the light environment.

Led by the China Optometric and Optical Association (COOA), SIOF 2025 attracted more than 700 exhibitors, including nearly 160 international exhibitors and close to 300 brands from 18 countries who displayed new technologies, products as well as the latest achievements in the field of eye health.
