3 min

Oakley and Racing Force Group, a leader in the motorsports industry, launch together the revolutionary Skier's Eye technology for a unique Point of View of the alpine ski disciplines.

Oakley is the Group’s sport and performance brand. Its story began in 1975, igniting a history fuelled by innovation while creating products we look towards progression, and innovation to support athletes in performance mode. Oakley is always committed to enhancing the sport performance experience with cutting-edge products in terms of design, and innovation. Now, thanks to the brand’s partnership with Racing Force Group, the two companies launch a new technology on Oakley snow goggles: the Skier's Eye.

This exclusive technology is delivering a never-seen-before perspective to alpine-skiing show fans what world-class athletes see towards a whole new level of inspiration for the next generation of skiers to push the sport forward.

With the Skier’s Eye, TV spectators will be able to enjoy an unprecedented experience, with high resolution images that will show the exact point of view of the skiers during the race.

The Skier's Eye is built upon the helmet camera technology designed by Racing Force Group for drivers' helmets and successfully used in the top world motorsport competitions. Working to implement it on the Oakley snow goggles, the Racing Force Group engineers have carried out further miniaturization to adapt to the specific context of winter sports. The microcamera and related accessories, have been integrated into the athlete's equipment for the first time, without impacting safety or performance.
